RoRo StretchPack® is horizontal packaging using a tubular stretch film. It can provide a six-sided sealed 100% waterproof packaging for full protection of your products. The packaging process is fully automated and makes it possible to increase your packaging capacity with high repeatability.
During the packaging process, the stretch film is rolled on and rolled off some strong gripper arms, therefore we call this packaging technology RoRo StretchPack®.
The packaging process step-by-step
Step 1
A tubular stretch film is rolled on the gripper arms.
Step 2
The stretch film is cut and a front sealing is made.
Step 3
The now five-sided film tube is moved to the product lane.
Step 4
The film is stretched vertically and horizontally until the film tube is slightly larger than the product dimensions.
Step 5
The film is rolled of the gripper arms while the product is packed.
Step 6
When the product is packed, a back sealing is made to ensure complete sealed packaging.
If requested, the film end(s) can be kept open and a four-sided or five-sided packaging.
Step 7
Packaging and sealing are now complete, and the packaging process can start over again.
