Hold spacers and bearers without strapping

Besides offering 6-sided sealed packaging, RoRo StretchPack® enables to hold spacers and bearers in place without strapping. Instead, the spacers, for example, are included inside the stretch hood film. The tension forces of the stretch hood film ensure tight and smooth packaging and hold the spacers against the bottom of the packed products.

Eliminate the strapping process

It allows the elimination of the strapping process, which reduces the number of operations on your packaging line. Removing the strapping process is feasible when strapping only is used to hold spacers or bearers in place below the packed product.

This solution is suitable for products with friction between the product layers, preventing slipping, such as plasterboards, rigid foam panels, mineral wool, or similar materials.

The stretch hood film holds the spacers against the packed products, so strapping is not needed anymore.

Reduced cost of consumables

By utilizing the RoRo StretchPack® solution to hold spacers instead of traditional strapping, you save the investment and maintenance on strapping equipment. You will also reduce your cost of consumables as there is no need for straps. The film consumption will typically also reduce due to tight single-layer packaging using stretch hood film.

This packaging solution also eliminates the risk of strapping marks on your products and thereby prevents the devaluation of the products. For end-users, it is easier to unpack the goods without strapping, and it eases handling packaging for recycling with only one type of packaging material (film).
