The film stand for the RoRo StretchPack® packaging machines can
optionally be equipped with an air shaft to hold the film roll. An air shaft is a convenient solution that allows for quick and easy film roll changes.
The integrated measuring tape makes it easy to centre the film roll on
the air shaft. Fixing the roll quickly and efficiently using compressed air, while releasing the film roll is as simple as pressing the air valve.
When using two air shafts to switch between, film rolls can be prepared in advance while production is ongoing. This minimises downtime for changing film rolls and increases overall uptime.

Important!
Before using an air shaft to hold a film roll, it is necessary to perform a calculation to ensure the air shaft can support the film roll’s weight. This depends on the type of film, along with the roll’s diameter and width.
