The RoRo StretchPack® machine is ideal for wrapping long plastic pipes, including HDPE, PVC, PP, and other rigid pipe types. The packaging solution is fully automated and enables six‑sided, sealed packaging of bundled pipes or large single pipes.
This automated packaging solution can be integrated as an inline system in a production line or installed as a standalone solution. Conveyors are customized to meet customer needs and operational requirements, including chain conveyors.
Protection against internal pipe contamination
RoRo StretchPack® provides six‑sided packaging that prevents dust and moisture from entering the pipes during transport and storage. The pipes are horizontally wrapped in a tubular stretch hood film. Both film ends are welded during the process, ensuring fully sealed packaging and optimal protection. This reduces the risk of internal contamination and helps maintain pipe quality prior to installation.
UV protection for outdoor storage
Plastic pipes stored outdoors can be damaged by UV radiation, resulting in surface degradation and fading. This can be mitigated by using high‑quality packaging film with built‑in UV protection. RoRo StretchPack® supports the use of stretch hood film with UV protection, shielding the pipes from sunlight during outdoor storage. Stretch hood film for RoRo StretchPack® is available from a wide range of film suppliers worldwide.
Perfect for branding
In addition to its clean, clear appearance, RoRo StretchPack® is compatible with both colored and pre‑printed stretch hood film. It allows you to enhance brand visibility and reinforce your product identity at every shipment.
